Shifting Winds is a group exhibition showcasing the work of three artists whose distinct bodies of work share a push and pull between intellectual structures and emotional, sensual generosity as they navigate psychological boundaries and survival strategies. All three artists engage in an ongoing conversation with their viewers—uncertain, searching, and exploring the tensions between structure and intuition, control and vulnerability, order and resistance. Their work shares similarities in color and texture—contrasting matte and neon colors, absorbent surfaces that recall weathered walls and fresco, and camouflage. In addition to the gallery exhibition, the artists will activate the courtyard by building two collaborative outdoor works - a weathervane sculpture and crying flag - responding to the chaotic, directionless swirl of the present—pointing towards clarity through reflection and calm logic. Together, the work of Emmy, Dani, and Lindsay invites dialogue, embracing imperfection and uncertainty as essential to the human experience, while offering a tentative way forward.
